This event is a fun-filled running, walking and cycling event, and you can even bring your dog. It takes you across Salisbury Plain between Avebury and Stonehenge, and there are several distances to choose from.
2012 was a very special year for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, their 50th anniversary. They were hoping to raise a record amount of sponsorship to go towards wildlife and conservation, and were looking forward to a celebratory event entitled “The Country Comes To Town”, held in Devizes Market Square on 21 July 2012.
Shipseys have been involved with the Sarsen Trail and Neolithic Marathon for a few years now. We provide marquees and equipment for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and their popular event. The several marquees required are erected at various points along the trail, as well as some for registration and the finishing post, where entrants can collect their well deserved medals and discuss any problems with the on-site physio.
