2012 proved to be an exciting year for Shipseys.
We were honoured to be asked to provide the dais and canopy for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee visit to Salisbury in May 2012, as well as the red carpet for her to walk around and visit the various exhibitions which were taking place in the grounds of Salisbury Cathedral.
The day started off wet, but as Her Majesty arrived at the cathedral the weather brightened up and she brought with her some much welcomed sunshine, which lasted for the rest of her visit.
The success of this event could not have been achieved without the contributions made not only by Wiltshire communities, but also by the many companies who helped in providing the necessary equipment to support the day and the event itself. Your contribution was a key element. I am grateful to you for your involvement and professionalism around the provision of the dais, tables, chairs and carpeting required between the tents.
